얇은 선들의 군상속에 다양한 상징의 이미지들이 한 화면속에 즐비하게 상존해있다.
이는 사유지 연작에서부터 표현되기 시작하는데, 이는 작품을 대하는 나의 태도로부터 비롯되었다.
성찰을 위해 고찰이 필요하듯 세상을 마주함에 있어 자존이라는 기둥이 필요했다.
자존이라는 튼튼한 버팀목은 개인이 마주하는 정보, 관계, 사건 등 수 많은 환경속에서 자신만의 시야를 관철시킬 수 있는 힘이 되었고,
삶이라는 여정이 보상이 되게 해주었다. 화면 속에서 이러한 태도를 시각언어로 표현하고자 하였다.
캔버스에 검은 숲을 산책하듯 천천히 거닐다보면 뜻하지 않게 만나게 되는 귀한 깨닳음들이 있다.
이러한 성찰들을 지표삼아 다음, 그리고 또 다음 길을 향해 함께 걸어나가는 길동무가 되길 바란다.

Amidst a multitude of fine lines, a constellation of symbolic images coexists densely within a single frame.
This visual language first emerged in the Private Property series, shaped by the attitude I adopted toward making art.
Just as contemplation is required for introspection, I felt that a strong pillar of self-respect was essential to face the world.
This steadfast foundation allowed me to maintain a clear and personal perspective amid the flood of information, relationships, and events surrounding an individual—
and it turned the journey of life itself into a kind of reward.
Through my work, I sought to express this attitude visually on the canvas.
Like taking a slow walk through a dark forest, the act of painting revealed unexpected, precious moments of realization.
I hope these reflections can serve as guideposts—not only for myself but also for others—as we continue walking forward, step by step, as quiet companions along the way.
